Scheduled
We are planning to migrate on December 9th our Production environment from AWS EC2 (our original setup) to an AWS VPC (our new setup). This maintenance window will last 2h (two hours) and will start at midnight PST and last till 2am PST (so to be crystal clear, this is very early morning next tuesday). During this maintenance window, our production API endpoint will be unavailable (API calls will result in a 500) for at least 30 mins and possibly more. We encourage you to plan accordingly.

The goals of this migration are better isolation, better security and better scalability. Our current setup has been patched up for over 3 years and it needed a fresh start based on all the lessons learned. We have already practiced this migration with our development environments and even our pre-production environment successfully and with minimal interruption. We feel confident that we can complete this within the planned maintenance window (and hopefully in a shorter time period).

We value your business and we strive to offer you the best service that we can. We wouldn't perform such a service-imapcting migration if it wasn't to our customers benefits.
